Territorial Administration Minister, Paul Atanga Nji earlier this week made a second visit to Kumba in Meme Division where seven students were brutally murdered on a school campus and others severely injured.
The visit was to extend the Head of State’s condolences and hand over presidential support to the bereaved families, wish quick recovery to those still receiving medical attention in hospitals across the region and beyond.
The MINAT visited the scene where the macabre incident took place, lit seven candles and offered prayers for the repose of the souls of the kids.
He called on all to pray earnestly for at least nine days not only for the peaceful repose of the souls of the departed, but also for God to send divine justice on the assassins and their accomplices wherever they are. He told perpetrators of the attack to prepare for divine justice.
“We have come here to pray and we will pray for nine days. I can assure you these prayers will yield fruits. I have no doubt that the perpetrators of those criminal acts will pay for their crimes, those who are here and those who are abroad because there is no hiding place from the father of creation who is God almighty…” Atanga Nji said.
He also had meeting with the parents of the victims during which he conveyed the Head of Stat’s condolence message and wished a quick recovery to those injured.
