The newly constructed sports and recreational facility popularly known as ‘Parcours Vita’ in Ngaoundere has officially been inaugurated by the minister of Sports and Physical Education.
The ultra-modern multi-disciplinary facility constructed which is a gift of the Head of State to the Adamawa region to encourage and promote mass sports.
It is built on 40 hectare piece of land. The project was executed by the by engineers of the military engineering corps on the foot of Ngaoundere mountain within four years.
Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi said the facility will serve as a vector for social cohesion and togetherness. He cautioned the management and users to make judicious use the facility with love and preserve it for other generations of sports lovers.
He saluted the military engineers under Colonel Jackson Kamgain for living up to expectations in executing the project with respect of all details and within the time frame. Similar facilities also exist in the towns of Bamenda, Douala, Yaounde.
