Hon Agho Oliver puts smile on the face of 77-year-old widow in Bafut

Former US President, historian and writer, Theodore Roosevelt, is remembered for his famous quote: “Nobody cares how much you have and know, until they know how much you care”.
Brand new bed donated by Hon Agho Oliver to 77-year-old widow
This quote compliments that of civil rights activists and clergyman, Martin Luther King Jr., which states that one life’s most persistent and vital question is: “What are you doing for others?”
This question undoubtedly drives and inspires the good actions of the Member of Parliament, MP, of Bafut-Tubah Constituency, Hon. Agho Oliver.
The lawmaker recently put smile on the face of a 77-year-old widow, Mama Lum Monica, in Bafut in the troubled North West region.
The old woman who was about giving into despair due to hardship was, once given hope through the donation of a brand new bed, mattress, bedspreads and a blanket.
The timely donation came in to replace the deteriorated bamboo bed she was living on. The bed was installed and presented to Mama Monica by Juliana Sirri and her team of volunteers of the Vision for Hope Foundation.

The ready team of volunteers without waste of time, discarded the old bedbug breathing beddings, cleaned and disinfected the home, before adorning it with the newly acquired bed from the MP.
The gesture from Hon Agho brought hope to the 77-year-old widow that there were still people in society who still care about the underprivileged and vulnerable. Visibly overwhelmed, Mama Lum Monica said the gesture made her felt loved again many years after the death of her husband.

After receiving the items, Mama Monica prayed that God to continue to use the donor in changing the lives of others in Bafut and elsewhere. She thanked God Almighty for using Hon Agho to make her smile again after years of living in deplorable conditions and abandonment.
Mama Monica saw in Hon. Agho Oliver and Vision for Hope Foundation, the husband to widows and the destitute, and prayed God to continue to replenish and protect their sources.
Echoing the wisdom of the old, Juliana was of the opinion that ‘one person caring about another represents life’s greatest value’, and that Agho Oliver was definitely that person.
Inhabitants of Njibujang neighborhood, Bafut Subdivision, where Mama Monica lives, joined the beneficiary to thank the donor, Hon Agho Oliver.
